Arguably the best DJ in the city of Jackson, DJ Phingaprint (also known as David Banner's DJ) is widely known for his swift cuts and vast knowledge in REAL true-school hip hop blenderage- everything from new ish to old school. With no samples included, this track is my personal homage to Afrika Bambaataa, who PIONEERED all that fact-paced hip hop future funk stuff. Phinga came over to the crib at like midnight with one turntable and set up on the floor of The Hovel (my old home studio) and what came out of that 30 minutes (set-up & take included) was what you hear towards the end of the track. If you listen, he makes the final scratch sound like a spaceship departing...
